The people of Vadodara said goodbye to the year 2025 and welcomed the year 2026. In the Fatehganj area of Vadodara city, a crowd of people gathered near the Lal Church to welcome the New Year, while the residents of Vadodara blew colourful balloons and painted the sky of the city with the colour of balloons. On the other hand, on the occasion of New Year's Eve, the city's farmhouses, clubs, party plots were filled with youth and people danced to the tune of Bollywood songs and DJs. Apart from this, the Vadodara police had deployed iron bandobast at all the check posts including Dumad, Golden, Ajwa, Waghodia and Tarsali and checked with breath analyzer and drugs decay kits to nab drug addicts on the night of Thirty First.
