With the sound of the local body elections, strict code of conduct has been enforced and the police have suddenly started to act as if they were on high alert to maintain law and order.
The police registered a case of violation of notification against five motorists who were carrying sharp sticks and leaves at Manjusar GIDC in Savli taluka of the district. Yesterday, when the policemen kept a vehicle checking drive near the Netafim Chowk in Manjusar GIDC, the police took legal action against the drivers of those vehicles who kept wooden sticks and sharp leaves in the Eco and Bolero vehicles during the checking of these vehicles.
