The Rain Sewerage Project Branch of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation has banned vehicular movement on some major roads due to storm drains (RCC storm water drains) and other developmental works in underground and cantile areas of the city. Instructions have been issued to use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience to traffic and pedestrians during the operation. The road will remain closed until the work is completed
The work of constructing the RCC storm water drain from Undera Lake in the city to Laxmipura Lake via Sahaj Avenue is about to begin. This work will start from today i.e. 10th February. The road will remain closed till the work is completed due to heavy machinery and materials. Alternative routes
Gotri Main Road Wooda: Vehicles coming from here should use the road towards 'ITI' via 'Lotus Plaza'.
Darshanam Club Life: Vehicles coming from here should use the road towards 'Panchavati Crossroads' via 'Panchavati Canal'.

Along with this, the work of cultivating raw bronze has been taken up on a 24-meter road from the city's Chhani Lake to the canal via Nysa. For this, 18 m/24 m.
