Vadodara: A team of Vadodara city SOG has nabbed a supplier from a Naxal area in connection with a case of 270 kg ganja worth Rs 27 lakh recovered from an unclaimed Tampa from Harni Golden Chowk a year ago.
A total of 45 packets of ganja weighing 270 kg were recovered from a hotel near Golden Chowk by the Harni police.
The SOG arrested Pukhraj Rampratap Bishnoi (Hemnagar, Jodhpur) and obtained an eight-day remand after police investigations revealed that Pukhraj and his partner Ramesh Dara had supplied ganja from Orissa and were supposed to be transported to Rajasthan.
