Vadodara: Four gold bangles worth Rs 4.51 lakh belonging to a house owner were stolen from Akshardham Society on Sunpharma Road in Vadodara city, police said on Sunday. Based on the complaint, the police have launched further investigation.

The details of the incident are such that the incident of theft has come to light in the house of Varshaben Patel, a native of Ahmedabad and currently living in Akshardham Society on Sunpharma Road. On July 9, while taking a bath in the bathroom, he paid Rs. 10,000. Four bangles, weighing 88 grams, worth Rs 4.51 lakh, were hung on the tap. Which they had forgotten to wear. During this time, three women doing housework continued to do their work. The bangles were not found while checking in the bathroom when they remembered that they were not wearing them after that. Nehaben Mali and Jyotiben Mali, who came for housework, went to the bathroom for work. And they suspect that they have stolen the bangles.
