Indian cricket team's legendary batsman Virat Kohli was recently seen playing in the three-match ODI series against the West Indies. Kohli scored 139* runs in the first match. On Wednesday (07 October), the International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest rankings, in which Kohli has slipped down one place.
King Kohli, who is in second place in the ODI batting rankings, has now come at number three. He has 781 rating points. New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell has jumped one place and achieved the second position. The Kiwi player has 794 rating points. Fans are hoping that they will see Kohli once again becoming the number-1 batsman, but here he has suffered a loss in the ranking. It will be interesting to see if Kohli can become number-1 once again.
Shubman Gill No. 1, three Indians present in top-5;
ODI rankings, India captain Shubman Gill is at number one with 841 ratings. Virat Kohli is at number three. At the same time, former captain Rohit Sharma is at number four. Rohit has a rating of 770. Rohit's consistent performance has kept him in the top-5.
KL Rahul breaks into top-10 with long jump;
Rahul was also part of Team India in the West Indies ODI series. Rahul got a chance to bat in the third match, capitalizing on which he scored an unbeaten 129 runs in 87 balls with 10 fours and 6 sixes. This innings gave Rahul a big advantage in the rankings. Rahul has jumped 7 places in the ODI rankings to number 10. He has 653 rating points. There are four players from India in the top-10 with Rahul.
