On Thursday, a valve of the pipeline of the Dharoi Group project on the Palanpur Janata Nagar road was leaked and the tyres of the rickshaw were flooded. Motorists and pedestrians were disturbed by the waterlogged waters without rain. The public road in front of Janata Nagar crossroads from Palanpur Malan Darwaza was flooded. In this regard, local traders, including Sajidbhai Makrani, said that for the last five years, water is being wasted due to the valve leakage of the pipeline of the Dharoi Group project at this place. Motorists and pedestrians were upset as the tyres of the rickshaw were flooded with water on Thursday. Repeated representations have been made to the municipality for permanent repair of the valves. The woman also tried to commit suicide. Information has also been sought through RTI. But no work is done by the municipality. Pedestrians are suffering due to waterlogging on the road.
