The first match of the three-match ODI series being played between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh was amazing. Batting first at the Harare Sports Club in Harare, Zimbabwe were reduced to 141 runs in 36.4 overs. After this, it seemed that Bangladesh would win easily, but the opposite happened. Zimbabwe were bowled out for just 116 runs in 33.1 overs to win by 25 runs.
That's how the whole match was.
Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl. Batting first, Zimbabwe were all out for a total of less than 150 (141 runs). Newman Nyamhuri, who came to bat at number 9 for the team, played the biggest innings and scored 33 runs in 51 balls with the help of 5 fours. Apart from this, no other batsman could cross the 30-run mark.
Bangladesh could not even touch the 120-run mark when they came out for the chase. Nurul Hasan played the biggest innings of 31 runs for the team. Apart from this, Tanzid Hasan Tamim scored 08 runs, Soumya Sarkar 06 runs, Nazmul Hossain Shanto 03 runs, Towhid Hridya 25 runs, Mosaddek Hossain 03 runs, Captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz 10 runs, Rishad Hossain 03 runs, Taskin Ahmed 05 runs, Mustafizur Rahman 05 runs and Nahid Rana 05 runs.
