Kutch has a high heritage in the field of cultural, folk arts. The contribution of artists in the preservation, development and promotion of which is indescribable. The true protectors of our asmita are artists. The art heritage celebrates World Music Day every year. This time in a single week, World Music Day, Yoga Day and The New Year of The Kutchis i.e. Ashadhi Beej, to celebrate these three festivals, Rooh Ji Rayan was held at the Town Hall in Bhuj. In the affection of the artists, the lamp was lit by the elders of Kutch, Gopal Nazar, Umar Jat, Amnaben Mir, Rajbai Paraghi, Deviben Ahir and Musha Pada. For the first time, 427 folk artists of Kutch's folk music came together in this reyana and resolved to preserve the folk heritage of Kutch by celebrating these three festivals. Tanisha Khan welcomed all the artists and Bharmal Sanjot presented the performance report by presenting the 12-year-old journey. The institute, which started with 7 artists, today has engaged 495 artists and has worked with them like sangeet reyan, riyajshala, documentation and social security. Art and artists were guided by various schemes and further work was planned. In the evening program, under the chairmanship of Kutch University Vice-Chancellor Mohan Patel and Managing Director of Lilaghar Forwarders Company Devendra Shah, Nimish Phadde Kalatirtha of Fodia- Ramnik Zapadia from Surat, Kirtibhai Khatri, Vice President of the Institute Dana Bharmal and others inaugurated the program. On this occasion, Dr. Kashmiraben Mehta. Curators of Kutch Museum Bulbul Hinglajia, Zaverilal Soneji were present. A presentation was made by Bharmal Sanjot of the work done by the institute for the last 12 years for art and artists. Shankardan Barot, Tanisha Khan, Haresh Parmar, Mohan Ahir, Nilesh Joshi, Naran Kharet, Karamsi Joganiya, Kavya Jethi, Haja Sanjot, Punja Sanjot and Guru Sanjot took the lead. Arjan Pabu Gadhvi, the singer artist of Kutchi bhajans with the traditional Ramsagar instrument, Rajbai Naran Paraghi in the traditional folk song and mataji's garba, Abdulla Adam Sheikh, the singer artist of Sufi Kafi Kalam, Sura Raja Chaudhary, the singer artist of Updeshwani with the traditional santar instrument, Sura Raja Chaudhary, in the traditional kani and jodiya pava instruments, the traditional kani and jodiya pava instruments were present.
