In the last 24 hours, sabarkantha district has seen rainfall everywhere. Various areas of the district have recorded rainfall ranging from 5 to 23 mm. The highest rainfall was recorded in Idar at 23 mm, which is about 5 inches. Khedbrahma recorded 14 mm rainfall, Vijaynagar 16 mm and Wadali 10 mm. All three areas have received half an inch of rainfall. Himmatnagar recorded 6 mm rainfall, Prantij 5 mm, Talod and Poshina 8 mm each. Rains in the catchment area have triggered fresh neer inflow into three major reservoirs of the district. Harnav reservoir is receiving 130 cusecs, Khedwa reservoir 120 cusecs and Dharoi reservoir 926 cusecs.
