Rajkot: The Rajkot District Supply Department has imposed a fine of Rs 18,12,240 on 18,262 litres of petroleum liquid in the district collector after it was found to be selling and hoarding adulterated petroleum liquid in six firms in Gondal, Jetpur and Jasdan talukas of the district. When this liquid was analyzed, it did not satisfy the characteristics of biodiesel. Also, 52,313 kg of unauthorised stored grain was seized in 4 firms, including one of Dhoraji and 3 of Upleta.
