Meeting held in the presence of DDO: Various programmes will be held from 9th September to 8th October under the theme of Our Anganwadi Our Responsibility

A meeting was held in the presence of DDO on the celebration of Rashtriya Poshan Maah in Porbandar in which various programs will be organized across the district from 9th September to 8th October under the theme of Our Anganwadi Our Responsibility. A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Development Officer B.B. Choudhary at Porbandar Zilla Panchayat. In the meeting, the DDO instructed the concerned officials to visit the Anganwadi Centres in person to check the facilities available and conduct public awareness campaigns by proper coordination between the departments. Under the theme "Our Anganwadi is Our Responsibility", special emphasis was laid on early physical-mental development of children, quality of fresh and hot cooked food at Anganwadi Centres and improvement in nutritional indicators. The meeting was attended by District Agriculture Officer Trivedi, Deputy Horticulture Officer Kalpana Panchal, Employment Officer Dinesh Parmar, Sports Officer Praveena Pandavadra along with Block Development Officers and ICDS officials.
