Vadodara: The 100th anniversary of the pre-independence government primary school in Nakda Alwa village near Vadodara was celebrated by the villagers of Vadodara on Saturday.
The school from class 1 to 8 is run by the Vadodara Zilla Panchayat in Alva village of Waghodia taluka. It was started on 22-9-1925. The principal of the school, Dharmisthaben Gohil, said that the villagers have come to know that the school, which was started before Independence, is running in one room.
Now this school is equipped with all the facilities including computer lab, science lab, solar, RO, sanitization, smart class.
