The senior women's team from Gujarat has won a bronze medal in the National Trampoline and Tumbling Championships-2026 held in Bengaluru. The team includes three players from Narmada district, namely Mittal Thakor, Jayshree Thakor and Dhyani Panchal. All three players are from the State Level Gymnastics Residential Academy in Rajpipla, run by the Sports Authority of Gujarat. They played a pivotal role in the team winning the bronze medal by performing brilliantly in the competition. Mittal Thakor also reached the individual finals.
The Narmada district administration, District Sports Development Officer and trustees of Shhotubhai Purani Sanstha congratulated the players as well as their coach Sumit Laxmanbhai Kharpas for this achievement. The District Sports Development Officer said that efforts are on to ensure that the players achieve more achievements at the national and international level.
