Proceedings: It was decided to extend the contract of knowledge assistants in the school

In the circular issued today, it has been said that the agreement regarding the appointment of knowledge assistants will have to be made by the School Management Development Committee for government schools and the School Management Board for non-government aided schools. At the end of the agreement, the performance will be reviewed and a provision has also been made that on the basis of the review, a new agreement can be made as appropriate and necessary. The scheme has been started from 2023-24 in government and non-government aided secondary and higher secondary schools of the state. On the recruitment of regular teachers at the school level or the teacher who has gone on maternity leave or long leave returns or from the transfer to the government school and the teacher present in the non-government aided school will have to be discharged from the attendance and the government and non-government secondary and higher secondary schools of the state now have to extend the contract of knowledge assistants and speed up the proceedings as per its rules.
