Among the two places of lion darshan, Sasan Safari Park is the main sanctuary area of Gir National Park, where safaris are conducted in the deep jungle by an open jeep. Here is a wonderful experience of watching lions roaming freely in the natural and natural environment. For this safari, it is mandatory to get an online permit in advance from the official website of the Gujarat Forest Department. Devaliya Safari Park is a special protected area located about 12 km from Sasan. Since the lions are kept in a small area, the lion darshan can be done in a very short time. Both mini bus and jeep safari options are available in Devalia, which is considered ideal especially for tourists coming with family and children. Tourists can see the lions with their families at a distance from them in the forest department's vehicle and can also take photos and videos on their phones. There is no restriction on photography-videography in both the safari parks. In this season, the timings of lion darshan have been fixed from 6:30 am to 9:30 am and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Sasan Safari Park and Devaliya Safari Park can be easily reached by road. Expatriates can reach by private vehicle, government vehicles and trains. Sasan can be reached via Mendarda from Jetpur and Somnath on National Highway-48, while Sasan can be reached via Talala on National Highway-51 Somnath-Bhavnagar. The nearest bus stations are Talala, Mendarda and Visavadar, from where government and private vehicles are available. The nearest railway station is Sasan Gir (SASG), which is well connected to Junagadh and Veraval railway stations. Three local trains Junagadh-Veraval Passenger, Veraval-Junagadh Passenger and Junagadh-Delwara Passenger train halt at this railway station. The nearest airport is Keshod Airport at a distance of 40 km, while Diu Airport is at a distance of 90 km. Both of these airports have regular flights from Diu Airport to Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Rajkot Rajkot International Airport (Hirasar) is located at a distance of 200 km.
