Gross negligence of RUDA: 10,000 citizens at risk from illegal dumping yard near Kangshiali Chowk

The gross negligence of the administration has come to light on the 80-foot road near Kangshiali Chowk under the jurisdiction of Rajkot City Authority (RUDA). Garbage dumps are piling up in the middle of local residential areas here even though no dumping yard is officially sanctioned. Approximately 9,000 to 10,000 citizens of high-rise buildings such as Sarvottam Heights, Architectural Green City, First Heights and Kasumbi Casa as well as surrounding row houses have been forced to live in a hellish condition due to these illegal dumping yards. According to locals, hotel operators in the vicinity take advantage of the darkness of the night to dump tons of garbage and garbage at the site. Due to this filth, there is an unbearable stench in the entire area, due to which people are unable to open the windows of their houses. The most serious thing is that there is a pre-school in the area, including the Shivalik School. Young children have been forced to study amidst the head-splitting stench and pollution since morning, posing a major threat to their health. Despite repeated representations, the 'Ruda' system is turning a blind eye. There has been a strong demand for the immediate removal of these illegal dumping yards. Who is the system waiting for? Why not take action?: Why is the administration not taking punitive action against hotels dumping illegal waste in the middle of residential areas? What about the health of the children?: If a major disease breaks out due to the filth spread near the school, will 'RUDA' take responsibility for it? When will there be permanent disposal?: When will an alternative garbage removal system be set up to free 10,000 people from this hell?
