A CNG Kia car parked behind the Naveen Court complex in Himmatnagar city suddenly caught fire. The incident took place on Thursday morning, which led to chaos in the surrounding area. As soon as the fire department of Himmatnagar Municipality was informed, the team reached the spot and doused the fire by using water cannons. According to the information received, a black coloured CNG Kia car was parked in front of the multi-storey building and behind the Naveen Court complex, beside the road leading to Hajipura. The fire suddenly broke out from the front of the car and intensified in no time. Crowds of people from the vicinity gathered to witness the incident. The fire department of Himmatnagar Municipality rushed to the spot as soon as the fire was reported. The fire team completely extinguished the fire with water cannons. A convoy of B Division police also reached the spot and took necessary action. It is to be noted that the new multi-storey court complex in Himmatnagar is going to be inaugurated tomorrow. It was at the rear of the complex that the car caught fire. However, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
