ICC Test cricket rankings released on the last day of the year, not a single Indian batter in the top-5


ICC Test Cricket Rankings: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the rankings for Test cricket on the last day of 2025. Surprisingly, no Indian player has made it to the top 5 in the batters' rankings in Tests, while Jasprit Bumrah has retained his position as the world's No. 1 bowler in the bowling format. 

Not a single Indian player in the top 5 batters

According to the latest ICC rankings, England's Joe Root has become the number one batter in Test cricket. He is followed by Harry Brook in second place, Kane Williamson of New Zealand in third place and Travis Head of Australia in fourth and Steve Smith in fifth.
