Kamrej police station inspector AD Chavda and his team have achieved a major breakthrough during vehicle checking. Police have nabbed four suspects who were coming on two motorcycles without number plates from Kamrej Char road. The police conducted the investigation through pocket cop and e-Gujcop app. The names of the owners were found to be different based on the engine and chassis number. The arrested accused have been identified as Anil Kharadi (23), Sanjay Patel (19), Vanesh Babhor (22) and Rajesh Maida (24). All these accused work as labourers. They live in kim and mosali chowki area. During interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing motorcycles from Kamrej, Kim, Kosamba, Uttaran and Sarthana areas. Police have seized nine motorcycles, including Splendor Plus, Activa and Pulsar, from the accused. Apart from this, three mobile phones of Redmi, Vivo and Oppo companies and rs 9,710 in cash were recovered and a total of Rs 3,05,710 was seized. Police have registered a case under SECTION 303(2) of the BNS at Kamrej, Kim, Kosamba, Sarthana police stations against the accused. An e-FIR has also been registered at The Uttaran police station. The police are investigating further.
