Rajkot Bar Association is conducting an exercise to get a High Court bench for Rajkot, considered the capital of Saurashtra, and as part of this, rajkot MP and former Union Minister Parshottam Rupala, he assured to make all efforts to ensure that Rajkot gets a high court bench and made a representation to Union Law Minister Meghwal immediately. Rajya Sabha MP Rambhai Mokarian, while making a representation to the Rajkot Bar Association, also assured that the need of the hour is and in view of the way the entire cases are being filled up, it is necessary for Rajkot to get a High Court bench for the cases of Saurashtra-Kutch. Rajkot Bar Association made a representation to MLAs Rameshbhai Tilala and Dr. Darshitaben Shah and they also assured cooperation.
