On June 17, Simma had parked three diesel tankers near a hotel in Mayapur village of Vyara taluka. During the night, some ismo stole 1400 liters of diesel worth Rs 1.22 lakh and fled. Police nabbed three accused in the theft case and seized the contraband. On the night of June 17, 2025, unidentified miscreants broke the lock and stole 1,400 litres of diesel from three truck tankers parked on National Highway No. 53 passing through the border of Mayapur village in Vyara taluka. The price of diesel is Rs. 122.000. A case was registered at Vyara police station in this regard. An investigation was launched under the leadership of Rawal, who identified the three men after obtaining information from CCTV footage, technical analysis and public sources around the stolen site. The accused, Ashwin alias Debo Navinbhai Gamit (27, r/o Indugam), Savanbhai Arvindbhai Gamit (35, r/o Vanskui) and Jigneshbhai Amrutbhai Gamit (38), r/o Indugam, were nabbed by the Vyara police team. The trio confessed to the crime. Vyara police recovered 120 litres of diesel from the accused. 10.800 Maruti Alto car (Number GJ-26-AB-9823) is priced at Rs. 2.50.000 and the price of three mobile phones is Rs. A total of Rs. 25,000 was received. The issue of 2.85.800 was seized. Action was taken against the accused.
