Ganesh Visarjan in Valsad: Peaceful immersion with the help of NDRF at 22 places in the district, good income of water in The Auranga River

On the day of Anand Chaudas, Ganpati visarjan was completed at 22 places in the district including Valsad city. The demolition work was carried out with the help of NDRF team near Oware and Vapi Damanganga river bridge of Auranga river near Valsad city. Fire team of Valsad municipality and members of Seva Mitra Mandal also cooperated in the immersion work. Heavy rains lashed Kaprada and Uparwas in Valsad districts on Saturday leading to a good inflow of water into the Auranga river. Therefore, the process of dissolution was carried out smoothly. On the main roads of Valsad city, the whole city of Valsad reverberated with the sound of 'Ganpati Bapa Moria' and 'Devao Deva Ganpati Deva'. Ganesh devotees rejoiced with the rhythm of DJ and Nashik dhol. A special crane was arranged by the administration on the banks of the Auranga river in Valsad. According to some Ganesh mandal members, after the last 10 to 15 years, so much water has been seen in the Auranga river on the day of Anand Chaudas. No untoward incident took place during the immersion in the entire district.
