POCSO-rape accused arrested from Daman: Sagar Vaspura, who was roaming around posing as a Swiggy delivery boy, abducted and raped minor

The main accused in the abduction and rape of a minor girl in the Godadara police station area of Surat has been arrested from Daman on the basis of a tip-off. The arrested accused, Sagar Rajubhai Vaspuda (25), a native of Daman, was a resident of Daman and lived near Satyanarayan Mandir on Tobago Street in Nani Daman area of Daman. The accused was working as a delivery boy in a Swiggy company in Daman to evade police arrest after committing a serious crime. On receiving the information, a special team of Godadara police was immediately dispatched to Daman and he was cordoned off and apprehended. The accused has been brought to Surat and remanded in custody. The accused, Sagar Vaspura, who was arrested from Daman, has been brought to Godadara police station and legally detained.
