Iron railing behind toilet in Kamatibagh collapses in Vishwamitri Barricaded around and placed security guards

For the last several days, there has been a rainy weather in the state, including Vadodara city. Heavy rains in the upper basin forced the gates of Ajwa lake to be opened. The gates of Ajwa lake have finally been closed as the water level of the Vishwamitri river rises and the water recedes in the low-lying areas. At the same time, the Vishwamitri river passes through Kamatibagh in the city, where the railing behind the toilet suddenly collapsed due to the continuous flow of water, due to which the road has been completely cordoned off and barricaded. Kamatibagh attracts a large number of tourists, which is currently witnessing a slight increase due to the rainy weather. A major tragedy was averted when a large iron railing collapsed due to a gap on the Vishwamitri beach passing through here. The toilet has also been forced to close. Along with this, a large branch of a neem tree nearby has also broken. Fortunately, no one was injured or killed in both the incidents. At present, the water level of the Vishwamitri river has definitely gone down but the river is still flowing on two banks. Kamatibagh security in-charge Ghanshyam Kahar said, "It has been raining incessantly for the last two-three days and the level of Vishwamitri was increasing due to the release of water from Ajwa Lake. As a result, the water in Vishwamitri has accumulated mud behind the toilet in Kamatibagh. The railing has been attached to it and that part has been exposed. After this incident, barricading has been put up to prevent any untoward incident from taking place here. Security guards have also been deployed here to ensure that no one moves around. Complete barricading is being done in all areas here.
