Several villages in Santalpur taluka of Patan district have been cut off due to heavy rains. In this situation, the Patan workers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) have taken the initiative to help the affected. Sangh activists appealed to families living in various societies in Patan city to make sukhadi and thepla. The overwhelming response to the appeal saw mothers of the families working in the kitchen even late at night. In a short span of just three hours, more than 3,000 food kits were prepared. These food kits were immediately sent to Santalpur by a team. The RSS Patan district unit has expressed its gratitude to the people of the Hindu community for their cooperation in this service work. People from all over Patan city enthusiastically participated in this service with the slogan 'Samaj hai aaradhya dev hamara, service hai aradhana'.
