Rajkot Lodhika Sangh Election: Elections to Asia's largest Rajkot Lodhika Buying and Selling Association based in Rajkot are underway today, with a direct battle between two factions of the BJP in the voting for the 5 seats of the Sangh held till this afternoon. After 10 seats went unopposed, 21 voters cast their votes amid a whip issued by the BJP party to dominate the cooperative sector in the remaining 5 seats

Rajkot: After 10 of the total 16 seats of the Lodhika Sangh were declared uncontested, the factions of Jayesh Radadiya and Prashant Korat have come face to face with to dominate the remaining five seats. A day before the polling, the BJP had issued a strict whip to vote only for the candidates decided by the party. The election is being contested between the BJP and the BJP, with veteran leaders including former minister Arvind Raiyani and Madhapar seat candidate Prithvisinh Jadeja (Ghoghubha) casting their votes. In this high-voltage election, Nitin Chovatia is pitted against former minister Arvind Raiyani, Prithvisinh Jadeja against Vijay Sakhiya, Harjibhai Pipadia against Babu Naseet, Nitin Raiyani against Aniruddhasinh Jadeja, Mahesh Asodaria and Dhirubhai Cash. In this election with 21 voters, one vote each is very crucial for both the groups.
