Surat Dumper Accident News: The menace of dumpers running at uncontrollable and overspeeding is on the rise in the state, adding to another Gozari incident in Surat city. Two promising youths who were going for Ganpati darshan in the Parvat Patia area of Surat were hit by a garbage dumper coming at a high speed late at night. In this tragic accident, a young man named Shankar Charate died on the spot after being hit by a dumper, while another youth named Sagar Rithe who was with him was seriously injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment. According to preliminary investigations and eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when the dumper driver was drunk and lost control of the steering wheel. The death of the innocent youth has sparked outrage among the locals and strict action is being demanded from the administration
Not only in Surat, but all over Gujarat, such reckless dumpers are proving to be timeless. A few days ago, a similar shocking incident came to light in Ahmedabad. In Ahmedabad, a 12-year-old innocent girl Aaradhya Barot, who was returning from school on a moped with her mother, was crushed by a dumper. The death of the beloved daughter in front of the mother's eyes left the family in a state of shock. In this case, the police investigated and found that the dumper driver Mubarak Sikander Mau did not even have a driving license. The police took immediate action and registered a case against the driver and dumper owner Keyur Barot and took strict action. The investigation also revealed that this dumper bearing number GJ-24-X-5130 had caused accidents in the past
In addition, in Junagadh, a dumper filled with sand suddenly overturned near Vanthali yard and crashed into a car. Fortunately, 2 people standing near the car were rescued as they moved away using the timer, but the car was crushed.
These gruesome incidents, which are taking place continuously in major cities of the state like Surat, Ahmedabad and Junagadh, raise serious questions on the functioning of the administration and the police department. Despite the lives of ordinary citizens being crushed on the roads and families being scattered in this way, it is a big question as to why there is a delay in taking concrete action. It has become imperative for the authorities to crack down on such reckless dumper drivers and heavy motorists violating traffic rules on an urgent basis. It is the need of the hour to take the strictest and exemplary action against those who get drunk, violate the speed limit or drive heavy vehicles without driving license. If the fear of law is instilled in the dumper owners and drivers, only then such tragic accidents can be prevented in future and precious lives of innocent people can be saved.
