Country's first Kamikaze FPV drone handed over to Indian Army: Surat-based company successfully tests in Ladakh amidst active jamming at an altitude of 18,000 feet

Surat based defence technology company InsideFPV has achieved a historic feat in the field of defence. The company has successfully tested its indigenous Kamikaze FPV drone 'Advik' amidst the Active Electronic Warfare System at an altitude of approximately 18,000 feet in Ladakh. The biggest feature of this drone is its invincible quality and amazing anti-jamming capability. Despite the advanced drone defence system being active, the drone maintained its flight and communication link uninterrupted. After successful trials in the presence of the Indian Army, this state-of-the-art drone has now been handed over to the Army. Electronic jamming is the biggest obstacle of drones in modern warfare The biggest challenge against small attack drones on the modern battlefield is that of electronic warfare. Both sides have lost thousands of FPV drones due to large-scale communication jamming in the Ukraine war. When the enemy's jammer breaks the communication between the drone and the operator, the drone goes out of control and the mission fails. To solve such a serious problem, it became necessary to develop secure communication links in India itself instead of buying any technology from outside. Now see three pictures of the drone: Light and jammer-proof communication network InsideFPV has broken this problem by creating its own in-house communication link instead of taking the finished parts from outside. The company has connected multiple RF systems with custom hardware and antenna rack system, so that the signal is not cut even in the midst of the enemy's electromagnetic attack. According to the company's CTO Devyanta Bhardwaj, most people believe that drones should be heavy and expensive for anti-jamming, but we have made a lightweight, inexpensive and compact drone, which no jammer has been able to stop so far. A tough test in Ladakh's bitter cold and thin air Ladakh was selected for the drone test after special consideration. The thin density of air at an altitude of 18,000 feet above sea level reduces aerodynamics and propeller capability, while minus temperature adversely affects battery performance. Even in such extremely hostile environment and fierce jamming, the 'Advik' drone flew steadily. Talking about the testing, the company said, "If our drone can operate in Ladakh in such adverse conditions, it can operate efficiently on any border of the country." Army in urgent need of cheap indigenous drones Current global conflicts show that modern warfare is won not only by technology, but also by numbers. Retired Major General Vikas Sharma said that the Indian Army needs Kamikaze drones costing about one lakh to attack the enemy accurately. This goal is possible only when its design and manufacture are done in India itself, so that its cost is low and the soldiers of the country can always be one step ahead against the jammers of the enemy.
