Shri Manishaben Thakorbhai Patel, a teacher of Shri Ravi Shankar Maharaj Primary School, has been honoured as the 'Gifted Teacher' for the year 2026-27 by the Gujarat State Education Department for improving the quality of education. The honour was felicitated by Hon'ble Mayor Shri Mayaben Mavani and Chairman of Nagar Primary Education Committee Surat Shri Rajendra Kapadia on the occasion of Teachers' Day. Manishaben has received this honour based on her various activities at the school level such as co-curricular activities, character building through Suvichar in prayer conventions, cultural activities, language lab, dramatization and English language teaching through play. The Principal of the school Shri Roshniben Taylor and all the teachers of the school congratulated Manishaben very much. Shri Amitbhai Taylor, CRC of CRC-01 also congratulated Manishaben for being selected as the 'Teacher of Excellence'.
