Celebration of Sharad Purnima at Shaktipeeth Bahucharaji, Palkhi Yatra held from Nijmandir to Shankhalpur village

A large number of devotees thronged the shrines of Bahucharaji and Shankhalpur Dham on the holy day of Sharad Purnima. On the night of Sharad Purnima, a supernatural atmosphere was created in Chachar Chowk Devotees thronged with sanghas to pay obeisance to Maa Bahuchara since early morning. As the devotees entered the Chachar Chowk of the temple with the slogan of Bahuchara, the abode of the mother resounded. At night, Maa Bahuchara's palanquin was given a guard of honour salute by the police when it left for Shankhalpur village from the Neej temple. Amid the fireworks and cheers of the devotees, the palanquin of Maa Bahuchar crossed a distance of 3 km on foot and reached Shankhalpur Dham and was given a grand welcome by the trustees of the Shankhalpur temple and the villagers of the temple were worshipped with Vedic mantras. On this auspicious occasion of Sharad Purnima, the devotees enjoyed the grandeur of this religious festival by having a divine darshan of Mataji.
