The Surendranagar Local Crime Branch (LCB) has solved the mystery of the undetected crime of chain snatching of Dhandhuka police station. The police have arrested one of the accused and seized a total of Rs 1,23,072 from him, including a gold chain and three mobile phones. The arrested accused has been identified as Salimshah Hussainshah Mohammadshah Diwan (35), a resident of Sudwell Society in Wadhwan. It's a strip. One gold chain and three mobile phones valued at Rs. 1,08,072/- have been seized from him. Details of the crime detected are in the post. G.R. No. 11192018250553/2025 BNS is as per Section 304(2), 54. Another accused named Imran Shah Yasinsha Diwan Fakir (resident of Ahmedabad Juhapura) is yet to be nabbed. The arrested accused Salimshah Hussainshah Diwan also has a criminal history. Against him, Wadhwan Post St. An offence under G.R. No. 11211055220184/2022 IPC Sections 302, 323, 504, 114, GP Act Section 135 and Atrocity Act Sections 3(1)(R), 3(1)(S), 3(2)(V), V have been registered.
