Vadodara News: Reckless driving or traffic negligence? 14 accidents in 24 hours scare pedestrians

In the last 24 hours, there has been a caravan of accidents on the roads in Vadodara city. A total of 14 road accidents have taken place in different areas of the city, causing a lot of panic among motorists and pedestrians across the city. The preliminary findings have come out that the series of accidents has been caused due to violation of traffic rules, uncontrolled speed of vehicles and road conditions.

9 vehicles collided head-on and 5 vehicles slipped

According to the incident details, out of the total 14 accidents reported, 9 incidents involved a head-on or rear-facing collision between vehicles. In 5 incidents, vehicles slipped and fell on the road due to uncontrolled speed or sudden braking. In the series of all these accidents, an innocent pedestrian became a morsel of time. A pedestrian crossing the road died tragically on the spot after being hit by a vehicle, while some other motorists sustained minor injuries.

The red eye of the system against the negligence of the motorists

In a short span of 24 hours, 14 accidents and 1 loss of life have raised questions on the traffic police system of the city. Local citizens have demanded strict checking of traffic police on main roads and accident prone zones and strict action against motorists who are overspeeding. The police have registered a legal case of all the incidents and further investigation is underway.
