The PI of Gotri police station H B Chavda said the child fell straight down while playing through the open in the middle of the stairs to come down from the house. He was rushed to the nearest GMERM for immediate treatment. He was rushed to Gotri Hospital, where doctors on duty declared him brought dead. The child's body has been shifted to the hospital for postmortem and Gotri police have registered a case and further legal action is underway.
