Kedareshwar Mahadev Temple is located in Veraval town of Gir Somnath district. This temple is a vivid replica of the Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand. The temple trust has completed preparations so that devotees can get the benefit of Amarnath darshan in the last days of the month of Sawan. On behalf of the Kedareshwar Mahadev Trust, pilgrims and devotees have been requested to take advantage of the darshan of Amarnath Swaroop. The temple is located on Praveen Pavbhajiwala Road near Tower Chowk in Veraval city. Being in the center of the city, it has become a center of special attraction for pilgrims coming to visit Somnath Mahadev from all over the country and abroad. Many pilgrims take advantage of the darshan of Kedareshwar Mahadev as it is close to Chowpatty, the main market, Jalaram Temple and Sai Baba temple. Shubhambhai Goswami, the priest of Kedareshwar temple, said that since the temple was established, it is believed that Kedarnath completes the faith of the devotees who come here. Traders and locals of Veraval city come to the temple every morning for darshan and puja lessons and then go for their work. The trustees of Kedareshwar Mahadev Trust had initially thought of building a small temple at this place. However, with the blessings of Devadhidev Mahadev and Somnath Mahadev, such a huge temple was built without any hindrance. The Pran Pratishtha of the temple was also completed successfully. A special feature of this temple is that during its circumambulation, devotees also get the benefit of having a darshan of twelve Jyotirlingas.
