The Bhavnagar Local Crime Branch has nabbed the youth along with a suspected rickshaw during patrolling. According to the information received by the police, the yellow and black colored rickshaw, whose front number plate was missing and the number GJ-24-W-3993 was affixed on the back, was investigated. Haresh Kanubhai Charolia (20), a resident of Kumbhan village in Mahuva, has been arrested as the driver of the rickshaw. During interrogation, he revealed that the rickshaw was given to him by his friend Raghubhai Muljibhai Parmar a month-and-a-half ago. It was sold for Rs. 5,000. The police paid Rs. A bajaj company's rickshaw worth Rs 50,000 has been seized. The chassis number and engine number of this rickshaw are AZYWJH69596 MD2A27AY1JWH28112. Investigation revealed that the rickshaw was stolen from Rajkot city. A case has been registered under Section 303(2) of the Indian Justice Code-2023 at Rajkot B-Division police station. The accused has been handed over to Bortalapolice station for further action.
