Porbandar liquor accused jailed under PASA: Ranavav police send Kanabhai Mori to Surat jail

Strict action has been taken against the illegal liquor business in Porbandar district. Preventive action has been taken under P.A.S.A. against Kanabhai Karmanbhai Mori (23), who was involved in a prohibition offence registered at Ranavav police station. He has been sent to Surat jail. Kanabhai Mori is a resident of Kakiyanesh village in Ranavav taluka. According to the police, they were involved in the crime of smuggling illegal country liquor. The Ranavav police under the guidance of superintendent of police Bhagirathsinh Jadeja prepared a prosecution against the accused. The proposal was sent to the district magistrate. The district magistrate approved the proposal and ordered the detention of the accused under PASA. Later, LCB in-charge PI R.K. Kambaria executed a PASA warrant and sent the accused Kanabhai Mori to Surat jail.
