Gujarati actress's son jumps to death from 57th floor: 14-year-old Pant falls on the pretext of going to tuition; Incident in Kandivali area of Mumbai

In a shocking incident, the 14-year-old son of a well-known Gujarati television actress has committed suicide. He ended his life by jumping off the 57th floor of a skyscraper in Kandivali on Wednesday night. The actress lives in Sea Brook Complex in west Mumbai and is known for acting in Gujarati TV serials. According to preliminary reports, the tragic incident took place around 7 pm, following a fight between the mother and her son. The actress had asked her son to attend tuition classes, but the boy refused. The discussion in the house became more intense and in a fit of rage, the son jumped to death by going to the top floor of the building. The mother thought that the son must have gone to class. The incident took place on the evening of July 2 when a 14-year-old boy, Pant Aarti Makwana, jumped out of the Brook building in Kandivali area. Reports suggest that the boy's mother said that she had asked her son to go to tuition at 7 pm, but he refused. After repeated insistence, Pant finally stepped out of the house so that his mother felt he might have gone to class. After some time, the guard reached home and told the actress that her son had fallen from the building. Police said an accidental death report has been registered and the body has been sent for postmortem. No foul play is suspected, investigation underway According to PTI, police officials from Kandivali police station confirmed that an accidental death report has been filed. So far there have been no signs of any wrongdoing. Investigators said a person living in the building saw the incident and immediately informed the boy's mother. A police team later reached the spot to conduct a panchnama and start further investigation.
