Ahmedabad Rain: Heavy rains lashed Ahmedabad on Saturday, waterlogging in many areas
Ahmedabad city started on Saturday morning and continued till late night. Ahmedabad city received intermittent drizzle during the day. It drizzled for a while in the afternoon as well. The rain then took a break. However, as night wore on, it rained again. Heavy rains lashed most parts of Ahmedabad city for more than half an hour during the night. Bapunagar, Nikol, Naroda, Odhav, India Colony, Subhash Bridge, Madhupura, Shahibaug, Delhi Darwaza, Prahlad Nagar, Bopal, ISKCON, Shivranjani, Panchavati and other areas of the city received rainfall. Due to the rains, Prahlad Nagar, Anandan Nagar, Astodia Road and Manekbagh areas were waterlogged in the night. However, by morning, the water had receded in most of the area. According to the Meteorological Department's forecast, the city has been experiencing heavy rains for the last 2-3 days. Parts of the eastern part of the city and the western part of the city recorded the highest rainfall. Due to this, the maximum temperature has also decreased by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours
