Mentally unstable woman commits suicide at Odhav Women's Rescue Home

A mentally unstable woman committed suicide by hanging herself at the Odhav Women's Home in Ahmedabad. Yesterday (July 3), when all the women were downstairs, they went upstairs and committed suicide saying that they would not drink medicine. The Odhav police reached the spot after the incident was reported to the police. Police have registered an accidental death and further investigation is underway. She said she didn't want to take the medicine and went upstairs According to the information received, the Nari Sanrakshan Ghar is located in the Odhav area of the city. Mentally unstable women are also housed in Nari Raksha Home. At around 9 pm last night, all the women were present at the women's protection home and when it was time to take medicine, a woman named Nehaben, who was brought from the hospital yesterday, also asked to take medicine, but she said that she did not want to take the medicine. All the women were downstairs and went upstairs saying they did not want to take the medicine. The woman was mentally unstable Nehaben committed suicide by going upstairs. The incident was reported to the Odhav police who reached the spot. According to the police, the woman was mentally unstable and was on medication. He told her not to take medicine at night and went upstairs and committed suicide. An accidental death has been registered and further investigation is underway.
