Ahmedabad gets gift of state-of-the-art RTO office: Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi inaugurates hi-tech building built at a cost of Rs 62 crore

Ahmedabad New RTO Office: With an aim to make government services more accessible and convenient for the citizens of Ahmedabad, a new RTO office equipped with state-of-the-art facilities was formally inaugurated today by the Minister of State for Home Affairs and Transport Harsh Sanghavi.

Built by the State Government at a cost of about Rs. 62 crores, this innovative office has been made completely transparent by using state-of-the-art technology. Several dignitaries including senior officers of the Department were present at this grand launch event. This new system will provide permanent relief to the drivers and applicants from the hassle and long queues of old offices<>

The biggest feature of this new RTO office is its 'Single Window System', due to which no applicant will have to wander from different windows for his work. Robust planning has been put in place so that all documentation work can be completed quickly from one place. Apart from this, a spacious and modern centralized AC waiting hall has been prepared at the entrance of the office itself for the visitors, so that people can sit in a comfortable environment and wait for their turn even in the scorching summer heat or other seasons<>

Minister Harsh Sanghvi said that the Government of Gujarat is committed to make government offices digital and people-oriented. This office is not merely a building but a huge step towards a corruption-free and agent-free administration.
