Tea seller’s account gets frozen over Rs 20 UPI cyber fraud link in Ahmedabad

An Ahmedabad tea stall owner's bank account was frozen due to a small digital payment. This Rs 20 transaction was part of a cyber fraud investigation by Telangana police. The owner approached Gujarat High Court after the bank refused to unfreeze his account. He argued the payment was a routine business transaction and not linked to fraud. The court has sought instructions from the state government on the matter.
