Rs 10L for IELTS coaching, Rs 1.5cr for house in Canada: Ahmedabad woman meets in-laws' demands, is abandoned

A woman filed a complaint alleging dowry demands and harassment by her husband and his family. Her in-laws reportedly demanded money for IELTS coaching and migration expenses. She was allegedly assaulted and ridiculed after moving to Canada with her husband. Her parents were asked for substantial payments to facilitate her stay in Canada. The woman was eventually sent back to India and her documents were retained.
