Free eye camp held in Morbi: 215 patients benefited, 83 sent to Rajkot for cataract surgery

Shri Ranchhoddasji Bapu Charitable Hospital-Rajkot, Shri Jalaram Seva Mandal and Antartara Hindu Parishad jointly organized a free Netramani-Eye Yagya camp on July 4 at Jalaram Dham in Morbi. A total of 215 patients underwent eye check-ups in this camp organized in association with the Accurate Metals family. During the camp, 83 patients were sent to Rajkot for free cataract surgery. A team of specialist doctors from the hospital examined the patients. These patients are provided all facilities including stitchless surgery, soft foldable lenses, boarding, tea and snacks, movement, spectacles and medicines free of cost. According to the organisers, a total of 16,159 patients have undergone free eye check-ups in 58 camps so far. Thousands of patients have also undergone successful eye operations. Shri Jalaram Seva Mandal, Mahila Mandal, Antarya Hindu Parishad and many volunteers worked hard to make this camp a success. The camp will be held regularly on the 4th of every month. It will be mandatory for patients to bring their Aadhaar card with them for eye check-ups.
