Prajapati, deputy engineer of Madhapur sub-division, told Divyabhaskar Digital that around 140 customers of families with electricity connections near the corner of Popatpara 9/15 had come for representations. On Sunday night, the cable was burnt due to an increase in load, which led to a fault in the electrical resources. Residents said resources including ACs and fridges were burnt. The process will be carried out to install a new transformer as soon as space is available here.
