Woman constable commits suicide in Vadodara: Priyanka Prajapati from Banaskantha passed PSI exam by tying a dupatta to a fan at home

Priyanka Prajapati, a 27-year-old woman constable posted at Kapurai police station in Vadodara, committed suicide by tying a dupatta to a fan at her residence on March 4. Priyanka, a resident of Ajwa Road, Navjeevan, had recently passed the PSI exam. The reason for Priyanka's suicide remains intact. Police have launched an investigation into the incident that took place in the Bapod police station area. The woman constable had cleared the PSI running exam and was preparing for the written exam. Policemen paid tribute to the deceased outside the postmortem room of Sayaji Hospital. The police friend went to the house to give the written exam material and came to know Last night around 11 pm to 11:30 pm, a friend went home to give the written exam material. Priyanka Prajapati was found hanging from the ceiling fan when a police friend knocked on the door and did not open it. Was on leave for 10 days as he was preparing for PSI: PI PI MK Gurjar of Bapod police station said that the name of the deceased sister in the incident is Priyankaben Rameshbhai Prajapati. He had been serving as a police constable at Kapurai police station for the past two years. He lived alone in front of the office in Ward No. 5 in Navjeevan area. He was on leave for the last 10 days as he was preparing for the PSI (Police Sub Inspector) exam. 'Priyanka was found hanging' At around 11:30 pm last night, we came to know that the sister did not open the door of the house. Our Inway men rushed to the spot as soon as they were informed. Since the door was locked from the inside, we went upstairs and found Priyankaben hanging. We immediately informed the higher authorities about the matter. 'The body was handed over to the family' We called their parents and informed. The body has been handed over to his family after conducting a postmortem at the Civil Hospital. The matter is currently under investigation. 'The constable was busy preparing for the exam' Preliminary investigations have not found anything so far. We have currently registered a case of 'accidental death' and more details will be clear after the postmortem report. There didn't seem to be much tension. He was just busy preparing for his exams.
